Key features

in
  • Storage encryption uses the AES algorithm, the current Advanced Encryption Standard, which is proven to resist to all known cryptanalytic attacks, both linear and differential.
  • Data encryption on the network uses the TLS standard (strongest known network channel encryption) or a lighter Layer-7 Mixed-mode (mixed mode algorithm like the TLS, but operates at a higher level and encrypts only data instead of the channel).
  • Supports both Folder-based File System (file system whose root is an existing folder on a storage device) and LXFS (proprietary file system, encrypted, compressed, journaled and with dynamic expansion of the volume size).
  • Encryption keys are managed by BladeBox eXtreme Enterprise Key Server.
  • Logs of one or more servers are centralized and handled by BladeBox eXtreme Enterprise Log Server.
  • AppBlade technology allows only certain programs access to the volume, only for certain transactions and limited to specific file types. All this can be managed by EVD, group or individual user.
  • Integration with Active Directory, in full or partial trust, can leverage the infrastructure investment.
  • A powerful subsystem of rules associated to EVD’s, groups or users enables unprecedented granularity in managing the security policies of BladeBox eXtreme Enterprise Edition.
  • Installation of the Agent is based on MSI (Windows Installer) for easy deployment in networked and enterprise environments.
